EXPLORE SHAKESPEAR Aside from the safe swimming beach, there are walking tracks suitable for all abilities to explore. As an open sanctuary, there is plenty of birdlife to admire. And if you like a more relaxed pace, it’s perfect for reading, a stroll on the beach, resting, and enjoying the cafes and restaurants nearby.
TEE OFF Whangaparaoa Golf Club offers a picturesque course with parkland and ocean views beyond the peninsula. It’s only a shore drive from the caravan to the club, as is the Gulf Harbour Country Club, with a stunning course and high quality café to relax and enjoy. If golf is your game, pack your clubs and plan a visit.
